The Legendary funny man Leslie Nielsen passed away

From the time I saw Aeroplane in a movie theater at the age of about 15, I was hooked on Leslie Nielsens style. His comedic timing and pitch was impeccable. Hed had a drawn out vocation before that which spread over many genres and graphic symbols, but Plane theater directors and authors Jim Abrahams and the Zucker brothers had successfully exploited into what Leslie Nielsen was conducted to do : Make citizenries gag.

Nielsen has been responsible for making me gag more than almost anybody, with the possible exceptions of Johnny Carson and Michael Dukakis, and perdition be greatly missed.

A commenter at Free Republic wrote, I hope they allow whoopie cushions in heaven. I do too, but if not, maybe Leslie can get the principles modified so the repose of us can laugh at him when we get up there like we did down here.

To that end, I just want to say good luck, Leslie, were all counting on you.

Fabled odd adult male Leslie Nielsen died today of complications of pneumonia in a hospital near his home in Fort Lauderdale, this granting to his agentive role. He was 84.
