ASUS Eee Pad Transformer gets US/Canada release date & pricing

ASUS Eee confirmed that the transformer platform will be released in the U.S. and Canada on April 26. The 10.1-inch tablet comb - an attachment that has an optional battery carrying keyboard - which will cost $ 399 for 16 GB model TF101-A1, and $ 499 for the 32GB version TF101-B1.

Or SKU will come with the base for the keyboard that are offered as a $ 149 accessory. In addition to a QWERTY keyboard, the dock has a battery that increases performance up to 16h, and two USB 2.0 ports and a memory card 4-in-1. The transformer has compressed an HDMI port, a microSD slot and the usual WiFi and Bluetooth.

Inside is a two NVIDIA Tegra chipsets with Android OS 3.0, and some interesting applications pre-loaded, such as the ASUS remote desktop tool. Eee Transformer Pad launched in Britain earlier this month, and demand soon outstripped supply.
