"McClintock!" and "Hondo" John Wayne western two-star hotel, light and dark. Slapstick-Laden "McClintock!" (Since 1963) meets Wayne with his "quiet man", co-starring Maureen O'Hara and brawl story of a cattleman to meet his ex-wife during the homecoming of their daughter. "Hondo" (1953) is a more disturbing story of a cavalry man protecting the woman and her son, without violating the Indian tribes. Both DVDs feature Audio Commentary by critic Leonard Maltin and Western expert Frank Thompson, who joined the actors in the film, as O'Hara and "McClintock!" co-star Stefanie Powers.
